Brictec's A1 Fire Proof Panels is a brick faced external wall cladding system. Developed by Brictec for use as an external sheathing on structures. Our panels come in two sizes 8x4 - 2440 x 1220 or 1220 x 1220

This system is ideal for large expanses of wall where speed of the installation is required. Versatile, fast and simple to install. Designed to be fixed directly to battens or bracket systems forming rigid external sheathing. Ideal Rainscreen for prefabricated structures. You should use a contact adhesive to take the sheets onto your substrate before mechanically fixing the sheet in place (fixings are not included)
When finished it's Indistinguishable from traditional brickwork and with low maintenance it is the ideal solution.

Brictec is Certified for installation on buildings constructed with a steel or wood frame also traditional build.
Technical Info
The composite backer panel comprises a 12mm thick Fibre Cement (Portland Cement) Board formed by profile cutting tracking rails for guidance when Installing. Along with your chosen brick, our backer panel provides a system depth from 24mm with a 15mm slip x12mm fire Board (excluding supporting structure SFS or mechanisms).
Brictec has an installed system weight from 53kg/m2. and th panels have Warrington Fire certification.
Installation
Brictec can be fixed to timber battens aluminium or light gauge steel framing systems allowing formation of a drainable cavity. Please note that the battens or bracket must be correctly positioned to meet the system fixing requirements. Cladding diagrams on request.

Workability
Brictec's panels can be cut, drilled and nailed using conventional hand tools; offering many of the properties of  timber. For cutting the product in any volume, we recommend the use of an poly crystalline diamond Dart Blade to avoid excessive wear on other blades.

Brictec's board is a non-combustible flexible Fiber Cement building board which provides superior workability due to a unique fibre reinforced formulation.
