Brictec's Insulation Brick Slip Cladding Board is a lightweight insulation board with a high strength to weight ratio. The board is specifically designed for brick slip heights of 50mm, 65mm, 68mm and 73mm. The system is can be installed on Traditional, Timber, Durisol, Steel, ICF, Masonry and Concrete substrates.

Expanded polystyrene insulation or EPS insulation is manufactured using a mould to contain small foam beads. Heat or steam is then applied to the mould, which causes the small beads to expand and fuse together. This manufacturing process does not form a closed cell insulation as there can often be voids between each of the beads where they are not touching one another.

Technical Info
The backer panel is formed by profile cutting expanded polystyrene insulation (EPS) to produce a pattern of horizontal ribs projecting from the front face of the panel which align and support brick slips to form courses accurately and easily.
The insulated backer panel is expanded polystyrene with a BRE Green Guide Rating of A+. Panel size is 2400 x 1200 and 1200 x 1200 x Any Size thick Panels up to 100mm thick can be supplied! or Bespoke. Please call to discuss.
The thermal conductivity of the panel, the K-Value is 0.035W/mK.
Project specific U-Value calculations can be provided if required.

Brictec's board is a non-combustible flexible fibre cement building board which provides superior workability due to a unique fibre reinforced formulation.
They can be used in an extensive range of applications from fire rated partitions, non-combustible boiler encasing, timber frame fire rated walls. as well as an extensive range of OEM applications.
Brictec/s Panels have been tested for 60 minute fire rated partitions.

All our systems have been designed in accordance with demands of modern construction industry. We focused mainly on achieving the fine balance between quality and cost-effectiveness of the end product. They are indistinguishable from traditional brickwork once installed and bricklaying skills are not required to achieve the desired traditional brickwork finish. Large areas of brickwork are supplied to site pre-fabricated in factory conditions making the installation less labour intensive and weather dependant. Both our external and internal systems do not require additional backing boards, unlike some other systems, which saves substantial costs which in turn makes our panels the most cost effective on the market.
